With some surprise, Square Enix announced the closure of the first Stamp card, which included special weapons and outfits for Cloud and Barret, including the legendary sword Mursame and the Heavy Hauser. At the same time, a brand new stamp card was introduced, this time for Cloud and Aerith.
Thematically, the new stamp card ties in with Beach Festival Fun. Cloud can dress up in a sailor outfit, while a summery outfit with a straw hat is available for Aerith. There are also new weapons to choose from, including the Sun Umbrella and the Maritime Sword, which deals water damage and is especially effective against enemies for Ramuh.
To completely fill the stamp card, at least 45,000 Blue Crystals are required, a considerable amount. Fortunately, Square Enix has provided over 3,000 Blue Crystals as Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis has broken the impressive five million download mark. Additionally, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth’s release date of February 29, 2024 was announced yesterday.
The Stamp Card is only active for 14 days until the end of September, while the Beach Festival Fun Event is active at the same time. It’s up to you to decide whether you prefer Cloud and Aerith or TIfa and Red XIII.
