Keeping an eye on the difficulty level
Each episode has a Combat Score that indicates how hard the fights are. You can challenge yourself and play an episode above your Combat Score, but you shouldn’t overdo it, otherwise the fights, especially the final bosses, will be too hard and you’ll waste playtime.
Observe diversity of C.Abilities
Each character can carry one main weapon and one sub-weapon, which determine the C.Abilities. With 3 characters in a fight, that makes 6 possible C.Abilities. You should make sure that these abilities are as different as possible. At the beginning you will not have unlocked many 5 star weapons, but this will change quickly and you will have more freedom and choice. You want to use the Buster Sword for Cloud? No problem, but then you should not equip Tifa with the Leather Gloves, because the Abilites Braver and Omnistrike both inflict PHY non-elemental damange against a single enemy. Instead, give Tifa Grand Gloves for an extra healing kill with Vigor or give Cloud Enhance Sword to deal ice damage.
The R.Abilities are also important
The main and sub-weapon is limited to your own character. Additionally, there is the Sub-Equipment tab, where you can create another three weapons, and this time all of them that are not already carried by someone else. These weapons give you bonus points for the R.Abilites. These include the classic increase of stats like MAG ATK, PHY DEF or HP, as well as bonus points on crit chance or additional resistances against elemental damage. The bonus sounds small at first, but if you have several points on the same stat, you can easily get a bonus of 50% and more. This is especially important against bosses, e.g. lightning resistance against Ramuh or PHY DEF against the Astral Iron Giant.
Upgrade equipment
To increase your score, you should regularly upgrade your equipment as soon as possible. You should limit yourself to one or two weapons per character early on. Leveling up to level 40 is very fast, but after that the requirements increase by leaps and bounds. You will need rarer materials to break through the level cap, as well as to level up the weapon itself. The materials you get through the daily rewards, Chocobo expeditions, etc. don’t help much anymore, but you have to grind the enhancement quest.
Synthesis and Enhancement of materia
Similar to equipment, materia can be upgraded and synthesized with other materia to obtain more powerful elements. These are marked with a plus sign. For this, you should constantly occupy all 5 synthesis slots. The materia you don’t need can be reused for leveling up. This is also very necessary, since Materia Boosters are among the rarest materials in the game and you always have too few of them.
Eyes on treasure chests
During the episodes you can find numerous treasure chests. These will bring you not only any Gils, but also valuable Blue Crystals, so it’s worth keeping your eyes open and exploring the paths off the main path as well.
The Gacha-System
Just like War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis has a Gacha system for equipment, materia, materials, etc. Already for pre-registration, you get some tickets to pull. Through social media, sessions, and holidays, new free tickets are given out regularly, and you should take advantage of them.
Mastering daily challenges
Every day there are new missions that you can complete quickly and collect materials and tickets. You should not miss this and pay attention to the completion of these daily missions while playing the story. In parallel, there is a Season Pass with up to 30 levels. The rewards are currently limited, but you should still complete the daily and weekly progress.
Permanent Chocobo expeditions start
IYou should always have the maximum number of Chocobo expeditions running to constantly get new crafting materials and other loot. Collect Limit Breaks
Each character has two limit breaks, one of which can be equipped. In addition, there are the Summons, which support mainly with strong elemental limits. However, each limit has a different duration to charge . You should wait once until all three allies can use the limit, as you will deal 25% more damage. Many bosses also have a boost attack and shortly after that they are in a deload and have a reduced defense. At this exact moment, you should release all limits.
Collect Stamps and use Whishlist
FF7 Ever Crisis is a gacha game and naturally wants you to draw tickets as often as possible. To increase the efficiency, you can check once which equipment you can draw at all. If you don’t need a piece of equipment or want to have it, you can put it on the whishlist. In addition, you collect stamps with every draw and can fill up a card with special or even unique equipment and outfits..
You can collect blue and red crystals beforehand and then fill up a Stamps card completely if the content appeals to you.
