Already from the first day of the release, you could read in every comment column that fans would like to see Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis also on Steam with a CrossSave feature. Square Enix never commented on these posts or made any statements about it.
Now, the official Japanese account on X (formerly Twitter) has announced that FFVIIEC is being developed for Steam and the release shouldn’t be that long in coming either. This information was released during the livestream on Youtube. Unfortunately, no release date has been published yet, but a CrossSave function will be built in directly. So you can play as you like on your smartphone or on your PC. This measure will increase the number of players and the popularity of Ever Crisis even more and we are looking forward to what is yet to come and will inform you promptly!
