„Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis“ launched with nine playable characters, and from the beginning the question was asked if and when Sephiroth will be playable in the game. You won’t find out the answer to this question until the end of the story, but beware, there are spoilers!
After playing through the stories of „Crisis Core“ and the original „Final Fantasy VII“, the fourth chapter of „The First Soldier“ will be unlocked. In the final episode, you’ll meet the young Sephiroth, who has noticeably short hair and seems aloof, but friendly and obedient.
To successfully pass this chapter, you should collect at least 53,200 Power Points with Glenn, Matt and Lucia. At the end of the chapter, there is a glimpse of the future: Sephiroth takes command of the group, and there are cinematic movie sequences as well as in-game battle sequences, including an attack by the young Sephiroth! Shortly after, it was revealed in the trailer that Sephiroth will be introduced in Chapter 5 „A Hero’s World,“ and that’s already with the next update!
Since Square Enix has already released eight patches, two Stamp Cards, and an event that has already been expanded once, all within just ten days of release, we can expect the story expansion and the introduction of Sephiroth no later than early October, possibly even on the one-month anniversary of Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis.
So it’s wise to carefully consider whether you want to spend your Blue Crystals on the current Stamp Cards now, or save them to pull the best Gear for Sephiroth. This is because later in the game, especially from around 50,000 Power Points, Blue Crystals will become scarce, and you may have to use real money to get more.
