New Challenge for or with Sephiroth?
The official FFVIIEC account, via X (formerly Twitter), has just unveiled the „Sephiroth Battle Challenge Campaign.“ The event kicks off tomorrow, on October 12th. While specific details remain under wraps, several questions arise.
One pressing question is the nature of the event itself. If it involves merely battling various forms of Sephiroth, it could risk becoming repetitive and akin to the ongoing „Critical Threat Sephiroth: The Arrival“ event, which runs until October 22nd. So, what unique content can the Battle Challenge Campaign offer related to Sephiroth? We’ll find out tomorrow.
Another intriguing aspect is the logo of the announcement, featuring a conspicuous Golden Cactuar. These rare creatures are known to yield more loot and experience points. The community hopes for higher-quality loot compared to the parallel event. Furthermore, you can earn up to 4,500 Blue Crystals, which are immediately redeemable.
New Stamp Card for Aerith and Matt

Aerith’s rewards include the new Prism Rod weapon, featuring the potent Raging Sphere wind attack against a single foe. Additionally, there’s the special outfit „Prism Dress,“ boosting MATK by 10 points and offering the „Windstrike Arcanum“ trait, increasing wind damage by a substantial 35%.
In a surprising twist, Matt receives an outfit that breaks away from the typical Final Fantasy style. With the „Killer Attire“ outfit and the „Killer Hornet“ weapon, he exudes a mafia boss vibe. The Killer Hornet enhances and deals regular non-elemental physical damage. Moreover, in an offensive stance, it deals additional damage, making it particularly effective against foes with Sigil.
