Glenn is a first class soldier and active in the time before Cloud and the main game. He served together with Sephiroth and worked together for Shinra. In the story of The First Soldier he is the leader of the group and definitely the one with the biggest mouth and a healthy self-estego. He laughs a lot and doesn’t take many things very seriously, seeing a lot more as a game. Still, he takes care of his crew like a real leader should.
He immediately comes into conflict with Sephiroth when Sephiroth comes to the aid of the group on the archipelago and immediately takes over the leadership of the group, effectively demoting Glenn.
His huge weapons are reminiscent of other Japanese role-playing games, such as Monster Hunter or Trails of Cold Steel, and he is mainly oriented towards offense. Thus, his weapons don’t have healing skills, but do massive damage or even have the highest PHY ATK value in the entire game, like the Apocalypse in Hell.
